Supporting healing, helping community, walking with empathy.
The Native Clan Organization, Inc. (NCO) is a nonprofit, relative-centred organization that has been walking alongside the community for over 50 years.
Founded in 1972, NCO was created to support Indigenous peoples navigating and healing from their experiences with the justice system.
Our Mission
The Native Clan Organization helps and supports our relatives navigate through, heal from, and return to their communities after contact with justice systems and to provide advocacy and progression of Indigenous ways of justice within those systems.
At NCO, we work from a culturally rooted, trauma-assumed approach. Our team of Helpers and Supporters identify needs, connect services, and provide direct mentorship and guidance for relatives on their journey through healing, reintegration, and personal growth.
As Indigenous peoples continue to be disproportionately impacted by Western justice systems, we are committed to responding with care, love, and evidence-based practices. Through community-driven work, advocacy, and research, we aim to build pathways that honour Indigenous knowledge and create space for meaningful change.
Together, we envision a future where healing is prioritized, justice is relational, and all our relatives can thrive.
