About
Manitou House Healing Facility is a culturally grounded healing home created to support Indigenous relatives on their healing journeys. Guided by Indigenous ways of being, knowing, and relating, Manitou House offers a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment where each relative is seen, heard, and valued from the very first point of Contact.
We believe healing is relational, holistic, and deeply connected to culture, community, and spirit. Our work is rooted in respect, accountability, compassion, and the understanding that healing looks different for every person.
Manitou House is committed to creating a home that is structured, supportive, and nurturing. Our team operates with professionalism, clear expectations, and trauma- informed practices, while maintaining a warm, relational approach. We balance compassion with accountability, supporting relatives in taking ownership of their healing in ways that feel achievable and affirming.
