About
Native Clan Organization has partnered with Reaching Home to create Bimosay Wiiji-Manido, a program that supports feminine-identifying relatives as they transition out of the Women’s Correctional Centre. This partnership is rooted in prevention, care, and connection, with the shared goal of reducing the risk of homelessness upon release.
The program walks alongside relatives during this critical transition period by offering culturally grounded support, advocacy, and practical assistance. By centering dignity, safety, and self-determination, we help relatives navigate barriers related to housing, community reintegration, and wellbeing.
Through collaboration, trust-building, and community-based supports, this program creates pathways toward stability, healing, and belonging.
